I don’t know how I did it, but Project Mohair is finished. I’m so relieved, so very, very relieved. It took a lot of non-stop knitting, a lot of focus, a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, and a lot of coffee, but it’s over. The night before it was due, I stayed up literally all night, finally blocking the knitting monstrosity at 8AM. It was all worth it, though – the final product is beautiful! At least it’s beautiful in my mind. Your mileage may vary.
Unfortunately, I still can’t show you Project Mohair, and I won’t be able to show it for months. That’s the biggest problem with a secret project, I find. I can’t wait to share it, however! It’s totally awesome, combining multiple techniques of mine with mohair and beads! I’d personally never be able to wear it, but I’d keep it around just the same had I the choice just to admire it.
Anyways, now that it’s out of the way I’m hoping I can get back into the swing of things, i.e. normal blog posts, knitting all the things, participating in Ravelry and Instagram, all that jazz. Thanks for putting up with me during this time, and I look forward to interacting with you all again!
